My sister Mari bought this painting in 2008 . She'd met Mary and her husband many times at the craft fair in Edinburgh and loved her work, buying many cards for others before allowing herself to have her favourite painting. She found it in the shop in the Botanic Gardens and had thought she,d missed her chance of ever owning it. Well it was meant to be! Her childhood memory of "wee ballet dancers"in our garden.
